What helps grow african american hair?

I want my hair to be long like it was when i was younger. How can I accomplish that?

Hey Miss. I bought a good "Gold 'N' Hot" hood hair dryer from Sally Beauty Supply and after I wash my hair, I apply Organic Root Stimulator Hair Mayonnaise and a conditioning cap. I then sit under the dryer about 30-45 minutes. My hair feels like silk. Once a week should do the trick and don't relax too often. I know those roots and that kitchen get rough. Get the

Organic Root Stimulator Moisturizing cream and a good brush and pamper your hair. Who ever said black people needed to oil their scalp is wrong! its the hair and the ends. A good silk scarf, or as we call it "The lunch lady cap" with the elastic around it, silk, is what you need to cover your hair at night before bed.

girl am still finding out the answer to that question, but what has worked for me is to do a hair mask with the yellow of the egg, meinese, and honny all together and leave it in for about 30 minutes every week should do you good!!!!

The same thing that helps any hair/nails grow: protein. Lots of protein.

my hair is really long. i think not putting chemicals on it that much will help it grow, when i used to perm my hair, i wouldnt do it every 6-8 weeks i would go for a longer while even though it didnt look so good, but i stopped perming my hair 2 and a half years ago and it's still long. Make sure you trim your ends every 6-8 weeks though!!!
