How do you make african american hair grow?

I'm African American and my hair has grown so much since I started taking care of it. First of all if you can go natural do so because relaxer weaken your hair but if you can't get regular touch ups to prevent breakage. Also always deep conditioner your hair after washing it. Black hair gets dry very easily and breaks. So moisturize it with oils and creams I personally love oil sheen spray because it hydrates with out build up. Avoid rubber bands and anything that can break your hair off. Also always wear a sleeping cap at night to keep moister locked in your hair and to protect your hair from breaking due to friction against your pillow. Good luck with all these tips your hair should grow I know mine did.

i think the best way is to keep hair on a regimen. i wash and deep condition every 2 wks and go no longer than 2 months n between trims. i believe the trims is what does the trick. alot of black women already have short hair and r afraid of gettin more cut off even if its is for the better. but the truth is if ur ends r split then its only gonna keep breakin off so just do what u have to do. clippin my ends makes my hair more healthy and thick and it grows a hell of alot faster... also try to avoid heat damage like dryers and flat irons. they can kill the ends of ur hair. i try to wrap my hair every night and use heat maybe once every 2 wks.
