What is a good shampoo for a African American with coarse hair?

I currently use Pantene for Relaxed Hair. I have heard that this product makes your hair fall out. So I would like to know what is a good shampoo for a African American girl with coarse hair. Can you also include a pic of the product that you recommend. Most convincing answer gets the 10 points! =]

That depends on what kind of hair you have. Is your hair natural, permed, colored? Is is thick? Is it dry and damaged? Or is it normal?

Good brands for relaxed African American hair are Mizani, Keracare and Kenra. Good brands for natural hair are the cheaper brands like Pantene (I like Texturize!) and Suave (I like Tropical Coconut). Look for shampoos and conditioners that have "moisturizing" in the name. Also, buy the conditioner that matches the shampoo that you choose. If your hair is colored, buy a shampoo for chemically processed or color-treated hair.

i use softsheen carson optimum oil therapy ultimate recovery shampoo and conditioner...it has coconut, olive, avocado, and jojoba oils which leaves my hair feeling soft, shiny and with fewer split ends..it comes in a yellow bottle and you can buy it at a lot of stores including walmart, walgreens, sally beauty supply...its not very expensive ($3-$5 per bottle) and it smells really good!
