Most shampoos have relatively the same cleansing ingredients but add different fillers for sudsing, fragrance, etc. Is your hair dry/damaged? Relaxed? Natural? Your best bet is to buy a shampoo based on your hair type (dry, oily, etc) then focus on a really good conditioner. Again, any shampoo will get your hair clean. However, if your looking for a recommendation I've always had a lot of success with Nexxus products (Botanoil and Therrappe Shampoos) as well as Aveda products (Rosemary Mint Shampoo). Girl no way. It is not for our texture of hair. It is for very fine hair. It actually makes your hair very thick puffy. It kind of takes away the moisture. Since white people need to wash out the oil its good for them not us. You can try motions. They have conditioner and hair grease and oil treatments. They make your hair grow and it feels light and healthy. I know i used to use it until i started goin to the hair salon.

please don't go to the grocery store or drugstore for shampoo. you have one head of hair and it's probably dry and coarse. you need to take care of it or it will break off - and the only way to get it back to healthy is to cut it off short.

SUPER SHORT. braiding it and using extensions will not make it healthy again. once it's damaged it's damaged; there's no fixing it.

this is the reason for a lot of african american women spend so much time (not to mention the $$$) on their hair and don't want it touched. no touching no getting it wet
