Do anybody know any good hair products (preferably for african american hair) to help damaged hair?

My hair is damaged (mostly in the back) and i'm trying to restore it back to health. I want to make it longer, thicker, and stronger. I've got the split ends and damage cut off which kind of thinned out my thick hair. I've heard of Motions and Doo Gro hair products. Help! Tell me what made your hair grow better.

Well what you might want to do is go to a stylist that way they could assess your hair and put you on a healty hair regimen. A good product that would do that is Nioxin products. Nioxin is a product for hair that has been damaged and that which is thin and what it does is restore hair back to its original state. The only thing is that it cant be bought in a regular beauty supply store(Supposedly) You might have to get someone with a cosmo license to purchase it for you.. HTH!!

I use Wild Growth and Gueye products. Wild growth has my hair below my shoulders when I used to not grow it past my ears. The only catch is that you must use it in drops maybe 3 times a week or your hair will get too saturated. My mom used it when I was young and when I moved we couldn't find it. Gueye has the same results and help with the health of your hair and they offer specific Hair Vitamins that help with hair and nails.

Any Doo Gro products or Dr. Miracles products work really well. I use them both. They do work.

Hello,

I can understand just where you are coming from. I am a man and perhaps it was due to wearing hats or just something that is in my jeans, i started to see a significant loss in the front and top of my head and quite frankly my barber was more interested in what was going on than me. anyway i found that my hair started growing slowly but surely as i am drinking a Natural beverage called Tahitian Noni Juice. yes it is helping with strengthening my hair and also in other areas like blood pressure and energy.www.tni.com/smoothone. look you've more than likely tried everything El's at least go to the site and take a look at the skin care, hair care and juice!!

PS. They make credible products..

Treating your hair regularly with good hair care products should improve hair but try improving your diet with proteins, vitamins %26amp; minerals specific for hair growth. Hair and nails are similar so what foods grow nails will grow and improve your nails. I recently cropped my long nails and Iam currently regrowing them which has prompted me to take a look at my hair as well. So i will be tracking improvement for my hair and nails!
