I am half arab and half black. My mom has alot of volume to her hair and my dad hairs is in other words the meaning of a perfect afro. So i have the blessing to have both combination.

No. Your dads hair will prevail if you use that. There's a blowdryer brush that works really well for mixed hair. Not too hot but hot enough to pull the kinks or curls out.

Does it work...? yes. Should you do it ..? No. The Japanese thermal straightening is very stressful to the hair. The process takes about six hours to do, I don't think you want to spend six hours trying to get your hair straight for years of damage. A good blow dry will do, or your natural tresses are just as fabulous. Take it from me, my profession is in the hair and beauty business.

i'm mixed as well and i can honestly tell you it all depends on what hair texture you have in your hair....the japanese thermal straightening would work better for those whose hair is more finely textured if you know what i mean...what i do recommend is to get a flat iron...i'm half african american n filipino...just take good care of your hair and use the flat iron...helps a lot
