I wanted to say that my husband is white (I wear locks). I asked him about this and here is what he had to say.

"In general, usually people like what they can identify with. I really like locks and braids and twists because I feel like those styles are different (he likes the texture, he says) but they're not so alien that I can't identify with them.

Afros are something that I struggle with appreciating however I have such an appreciation for chemical free (he means straightener-free) hair that I can't help but respect a woman who makes that decision."

I just wanted to add that my husband is not a *typical* white guy...hehe

So the answer is, Yes - some white guys do like the natural black hair.

I'm white, and personally I prefer it way over weaves and wigs.

i am a white woman and i like when i see African Americans with their natural hair in all styles. I think it looks fake when you use straightener or dye it blond, i hate that. i have curly frizzy red hair, i don't dye it or straighten it, i just try to deal with it. it isn't easy, but it is better than fighting what creator gave me. LOL

i personally like it when my friend puts her hair in puffs, Afro piggy tails. i think she looks so spunky. i wish i could do that with my hair.
