my cousin uses it and her hair is very pretty and thick, however her grade of hair is different from mine. Try it and see if you like it and this would determine if this brand is good for your hair. Also consult with your beautician and see what she/he says. I use design essentials (it's a black product)

I think I understand why you ask this. Every product is not safe for our hair, as black people tend to have drier hair and scalps and Pert or Prell would make our hair look like Brillo pads. Answer to your question: My mom has a salon and uses it. I find Botanoil shampoo to be very moisturizing, along with Humectress as leave in conditioner. You can also use Keraphixx if you want a conditioner that needs to be rinsed out. I used Verastyler to wear my hair curly, but use it in small quantities, or it can dry your hair out. Nexxus recently went from being professional to being offered in stores such as WalMart and CVS. I still think they make good products.
